William the fourth child of William and Elizabeth (Perkins) Sargent was born at Salesbury Mass. Nov 21, 1645. He married Sept 23, 1668 Mary Colby of Amesbury daughter of Anthony and Susanna (Haddou) Colby. William Sargent died in 1712 at Amesbury where they lived and are burried. He was a farmer and held public office. He took the oath of allegience and fidelity Dec 20, 1677 at Amesbury before Robert Pike. His estate was probated at Salem Mass. March 31, 1712
William married Mary Colby, daughter of Anthony Colby and Susanna Haddou, on 23 Sep 1668. (Mary Colby was born on 19 Sep 1647 in Salisbury Mills, N.Y and was buried in Amesbury, MA.)
